Bob Harris has announced that he will be fulfilling a life-long ambition in May this year by hosting his own ‘Under The Apple Tree’ roots festival! The festival will be taking place across the bank holiday weekend in May (27th/28th/29th) in Silverstone Woodlands, Buckingham!
As it stands, 18 artists will be appearing on the main stage across the weekend, including a couple of Country2Country favourites, Ward Thomas and Sonia Leigh! There will also be a ‘pub stage’, where 22 more artists are set to perform, including Laura Oakes, Jess and the Bandits, Raintown, Sasha McVeigh and Dexeter. More artists will be announced in the lead-up to the festival.
Elsewhere, there will be an ‘Under The Apple Tree Sessions Stage’, which was a feature of last year’s C2C, and there will also be a song-writers stage giving fans a chance to engage with the brains behind their favourite roots/country tracks.
This is something you really won’t want to miss. Tickets are available now at seetickets.com! Weekend passes with camping are available, as well as individual day passes.
“Under The Apple Tree Roots Festival will encompass everything Bob’s radio shows are known and loved for- warmth, integrity, and above all, wonderful music, culminating in a three-day extravaganza of unique performances from his favourite artists and the height of festival comfort and sophistication”
