C2C Announce Post-Festival Shows!

1560532_478137172326739_7080563143816626317_nCountry2Country have announced a series of ‘C2C Introduces’ shows, set to take place during the week following this year’s festival.

Maren Morris will perform at the Borderline in London on Monday 14 March. Maren performs on the Yamaha Stage at Country2Country, but this will give fans the opportunity to watch a full set, featuring songs from her self-titled EP, as well as new songs which may be featured on future projects. Her self-titled debut EP shot straight to #1 on the heatseekers chart, and Maren is tipped to be the next big female star in country music.

On the same night, Old Dominion will perform a very intimate show at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen in London. The band, who are one of the ‘ones to watch’ this year, will feature quite heavily at C2C this year, with a spot on the ‘Bluebird Cafe’ line-up as well as a performance at the C2C Aftershow on Friday 11 March. Old Dominion had a #1 single in 2015 with ‘Break Up With Him’, and have just released their debut album ‘Meat and Candy’.

On Thursday 17 March, Ashley Monroe will be performing at Bush Hall in London. Her critically-acclaimed album ‘The Blade’ reached #2 in the charts last year, and she is set to perform at this year’s C2C on the Yamaha Stage. Definitely one of the most talented female vocalists in the genre, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Frankie Ballard will be embarking on a UK tour across 3 cities – Birmingham, Manchester and London. On Monday 17 March, he will be appearing at the O2 Institute3 in Birmingham, then on Wednesday 16 March he will be appearing at the Deaf Institute in Manchester, finishing with a show at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen in London on Thursday 17 March. Frankie is set to release a new album in 2016, the follow-up to ‘Sunshine and Whiskey’ which produced three #1 hits.

Finally, Striking Matches will perform at Bush Hall in London on Sunday 20 March. Justin and Sarah have become C2C fan favourites in recent years with their guitar-shredding sets, and they recently embarked on a very successful UK tour with John and Jacob. They will appear at C2C on the Yamaha Stage, but if you can’t make it to C2C, don’t miss the show at Bush Hall!

Tickets are available for the shows on Wednesday 27 January at 9am from gigsandtours.com!
