Abby Anderson Shares Newfound Confidence With “Insecure”

Abby Anderson

Having been a member of CMT’s 2018 Next Women of Country, The Bobby Bones Show’s Class of 2019, MusicRow Magazine’s 2019 Next Big Things and Sounds Like Nashville’s list of Country Artists to Watch in 2019, insecurity isn’t something you would associate with Abby Anderson.
However, on the heels of critical acclaim, “insecure” is exactly how Anderson felt. With time for reflection afforded by a global pandemic, she decided to step away from her label deal and focus on her own health and happiness.
“To me this song is absolute freedom. I’m so happy now,” shares Anderson. “I chose me. Now I dress how I want. I eat what I want. I’m making the music I want. I’m so thankful for that experience though. It has made me who I am today…I was insecure and I’m stronger now for facing those insecurities.”
Anderson’s new declaration of confidence, “Insecure,” is available now. Listen HERE.

Written by Anderson alongside Marshall and Dylan Altman, as well as executive produced by Marshall Altman, the upbeat and unapologetic song offers an inspired message of positivity and overcoming insecurities. It follows her recent release, “Bad Posture”.
