Billboard Chart Update: 9th February



Here’s your round-up of this week’s Billboard Country charts:

Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart:

It’s yet another week at #1 this week for Thomas Rhett! ‘Die A Happy Man’ has now held the top spot for an incredible 13 weeks! Sam Hunt’s ‘Breakup In A Small Town’ also remains at #2 in its 43rd week on the chart.

Elsewhere, Granger Smith’s ‘Backroad Song’ continues to climb, currently sitting at #4, followed by Cole Swindell’s deeply personal single ‘You Should Be Here’ which has broken into the top 5 for the first time.

Maren Morris’ debut single ‘My Church’ also continues to shoot up the chart, currently at #13 and destined to climb even further in the coming weeks with its incredible success on streaming services. Also, ahead of their appearance at this year’s C2C festival, Old Dominion’s second single ‘Snapback’ enters the top 20 for the first time at #17!

Billboard Country Albums Chart:

The Swon Brothers released a surprise EP, ‘Timeless’, last week which has gone straight into the top 20 at #19. Another new entry this week is Aubrie Sellers, daughter of Lee Ann Womack, who has entered the chart at #23 with her new album ‘New City Blues’. New country prospect Kane Brown also re-enters the chart at #22 with his ‘Closer’ EP, ahead of his upcoming US tour with Florida Georgia Line.

The top 10 this week remains roughly the same, with Chris Stapleton continuing to dominate with ‘Traveller’. Also, as Sam Hunt’s ‘Montevallo’ hit 1 million sales in the US this week, the album has risen to #2 after dropping in recent weeks. Blake Shelton remains at #3 with his ‘Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits’ album, followed by Hank Williams Jr at #4 with ‘It’s About Time’.
