Laura Evans is a singer songwriter from the South Wales Valleys. She is known for her captivating soulful voice, story telling lyrics and pop country melodies.

After a successful career as an actress and 5 year stint on the very popular  BBC childrens TV show ‘Basil Brush’  Laura packed up and travelled stateside to pursue her passion of music. Laura’s love of country & roots music took her all the way to Los Angeles and Nashville to write, record and release her latest EP entitled ‘Remember When’

She has managed to wow the stars such as American Rap superstar ‘Drake’ who  became a fan, after seeing her perform live in Los Angeles and co- writing songs with members of the hugely successful band ‘Magic’. Many of her songs can be heard on the popular CMT channel and in all Caffe Nero stores across the country.

Laura has since returned to live in the UK and won over a crowd of 1400 welsh fans when she supported popular UK country act ‘The Shires’ in concert at Chepstow Castle.

Laura is thrilled to be performing at the C2C : Country2Country Music festival at the O2 arena this March, alongside an incredible lineup of Nashville’s finest artists that she loves and admires.

Laura is one to watch this year, with a more soulful edge she definitely adds an exciting new sound to the British country scene.
