ALYSSA BONAGURA – ‘OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD’

Alyssa drops yet another top quality release, this time reflecting upon the tribulations of a transatlantic romance.

‘Other Side Of The World’ was written during the 2020 lockdown with Dave Pittenger.

She will be returning to the UK in August for an appearance at Millport Country Festival and our very own Nashville Sounds In The Round.

KENNY FOSTER – ‘POOR KIDS’

Another Nashville-based artist who will be crossing the pond to appear at Millport is Kenny Foster, who is preparing to release a new album later this year.

He’s enlisted two Grammy winners on production and mastering duties, Mitch Dane and Vance Powell. ‘Poor Kids’ is the second preview from the album. The title track was released in January.

BRETT ELDREDGE – ‘SONGS ABOUT YOU’

Brett’s gearing up to release his 5th studio album on June 17th. ‘Songs About You’ is the title track from the album, and was co-written by Eldredge with Ben West and Jessie Jo Dillon.

He’s also just about to begin a UK tour. It starts in Glasgow on May 2nd and includes dates in Belfast, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester and London.

RALEIGH KEEGAN – ‘HOWS THE VIEW IN NEW YORK CITY’

We featured Raleigh Keegan previously in our weekly list, and shared how he was releasing a project that featured a musical journey with city-inspired tracks. The EP ‘A Tale Of 7 Cities’ will be released on June 24th.

The journey has reached the Big Apple. He wrote ‘How’s The View In New York City’ with Danielle Blakey, written from the perspective of his friends back home.

TRAVIS DENNING – ‘SHE’S ON IT’

Travis wrote the song in 2016 but has only just got round to recording it.

He recently said “I think sometimes a song has to wait for its time to be heard. I wrote this song in 2016, and think it’s waited long enough. I’m beyond excited to give y’all a taste of the new music we’ve been working on this year, and there’s a lot more coming”

He’s out on the road with Dierks Bentley and Ashley McBryde later this year as a support on Dierks’ ‘Beers On Me’ tour.

AMERICAN AQUARIUM – ‘ALL I NEEDED’

They are releasing a new album ‘Chicamacomico’ on June 10th, and ‘All I Needed’ is the last track on the new project but the first single release.

It’s been a tough year for frontman BJ Barham, who lost his Mother and Grandmother, and the album is said to be his most personal to date.

It also features a number of co-writes with Lori McKenna and Hates Carll, which is not something that BJ has done previously.

LUKE COMBS – ‘TOMORROW ME’

We guess that the only other artist capable of replacing Morgan Wallen at the peak of the Country Album charts would be Luke Combs, who releases his new project ‘Growin’ Up’ on June 24th.

‘Tomorrow Me’ is the first taster from it, and already feels like another Luke Combs classic.

MIDLAND FT. JON PARDI – ‘LONGNECK WAY TO GO’

Not long to wait now for the release of Midland’s album ‘The Last Resort: Greetings From’ which will be with us on 6th May.

Their fans will be delighted with this cool honky-tonk country tune featuring Jon Pardi. As expected, they have nailed the drinking and heartbreak market with this one.

LITTLE BIG TOWN – ‘HELL YEAH’

Little Big Town have kept a very low profile recently. ‘Hell Yeah’ is their first release in two years. It will feature on their 10th studio album.

The song was written by Philip and Jimi with Tyler Hubbard and Corey Crowder. They debuted the song at this year’s CMT Music Awards in Las Vegas.
