KANE BROWN – ‘LIKE I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC’
Kane wrote the song in 2019 but delayed it until he felt it was ready. It’s now the follow-up to his latest hit single ‘One Mississippi’ which hit the top of the country charts.
He’s also announced UK dates next January on his worldwide ‘Drunk Or Dreaming Tour,’ where he will be supported by fellow Tennessee natives Restless Road.
The tour will include dates in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and Europe and concludes in Stockholm on January 31st 2023.
AUSTIN JENCKES – ‘RIVER JORDAN’
He’s been in the UK supporting Ashley McBryde and has now joined Brett Eldredge for his dates in Berlin, Munich and Amsterdam.
He impressed at The Long Road in 2019 pre-pandemic, and it surely can’t be long before he returns to headline his own shows.
‘River Jordan’ is described on his socials as representing a “new beginning,” and it is the first new music since his 2019 debut album ‘If You Grew Up Like I Did’.
HALEY MAE CAMPBELL – ‘NEVER BEEN IN LOVE’ FT. CHRIS RUEDIGER’
This is the new single from viral star Haley Mae Campbell, which has already hit the top spot on the iTunes Country chart. Her TikTok exposure is impressive – the song has gone viral with over 8 million views.
She’s from New York and was raised in South Carolina. She released her first album in 2015.
JENNA PAULETTE – ‘EL PASO’
Jenna is a member of the 2022 CMT ‘Next Woman Of Country’ class, and has released a ballad that details her love of home in Texas whilst she is is touring the country.
She wrote the song with Jacob Durrett and Robyn Collins, and has shows supporting Aaron Watson, Tristan Marez and Jon Wolfe.
JULIA COLE FT. CHARLES ESTEN – ‘WORST DAY’
Another ‘Next Woman of Country’ member, Julia Cole has teamed up with Charles Esten for a song that Charles describes as “a flat-out banger about the joy of having that special someone you love beside you in the good times, and even more especially, in the hard times.”
They premiered the song in April when he was appearing at his 150th Grand Ole Opry performance and invited Julia on stage.
KAT AND ALEX – ‘LET’S FIND A BAR’
Husband and Wife duo Kat and Alex appeared on American Idol in 2020, and were invited to appear in Hollywood. They have now signed a recording deal with Sony Music Nashville and a publishing deal with Warner Chappell. They released their debut single ‘How Many Times’ in October of that year.
‘Lets Find A Bar’ was written with Jared Keim and Jared Scott. The couple made their Opry debut this month.
KELSEY WALDON – ‘SWEET LITTLE GIRL’
She’s announced the release of her new album ‘No Regular Dog,’ and ‘Sweet Little Girl’ is the first taster, featuring an introduction from Jim Lauderdale.
The album will be released on August 12th and will be her second for Oh Boy Records, but her fourth overall. Her mentor John Prine signed her to the label in 2019.
The new project was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Shooter Jennings.
KARL MICHAEL – ‘SAVE ME’ FT. MITCHELL TENPENNY
Karl Michael was born in the UK but now calls Nashville home. He has diversified musically having written with Bruno Marrs (‘Can We Dance’) and Dappy (‘Beautiful Me’) but always maintained his desire to appear as an artist in his own right.
He signed a recording deal with Riser House and released a series of tunes which were geared towards the pop market. He has now teamed up with Mitchell Tenpenny for the pop-country inspired ‘Save Me.’
RANDY HOUSER – ‘STILL THAT COWBOY’
The song is an ode to Randy’s wife, as the couple announced that they are expecting their second child later this year. It’s his first release since 2019.
