INGRID ANDRESS  – ‘PAIN’

Ingrid’s debut album was nominated for a Grammy, so there is great anticipation for the release of the follow-up, ‘Good Person,’ coming August 26th.

She’s released a preview track ‘Pain’ from the project, together with a video directed by Olivia Bee.

She recently appeared on The Tonight Show performing the first release from the new album, ‘Seeing Someone Else’

ZAC BROWN BAND FT. BLAKE SHELTON – ‘OUT IN THE MIDDLE’

The original featured on ‘The Comeback’ album released last year, but we are loving the inclusion of Blake Shelton which has given the track a new lease of life.

It’s one of a number of re-works that will feature on the deluxe version of the album, which will be released later this summer.

Blake recently said “I’ve always been such a big fan of Zac as an artist and especially as a songwriter. This song in particular really resonated with me. It reminds me of how I was raised and where I come from — out in the middle!”

STEVE MOAKLER – ‘LETS GO TO THE LAKE’

We are looking forward to the release of Steve Moakler’s seventh studio album ‘Make A Little Room’ on August 12th, which features co-writes with a number of Nashville’s premier songwriters. ‘Lets Go To the Lake,’ written with Luke Laird and Barry Dean, is the latest preview.

He’s also announced a 6-date tour which will be the first live shows that he has undertaken in 4 years.

KIP MOORE – ‘FIRE ON WHEELS’

Kip’s just announced a ‘Fire On Wheels’ tour in the US, taking in 21 dates and covering most of the country, plus two dates in Canada. Boy Named Banjo has been announced as the support.

The new song was written with The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston, who also produced the track, and the video is definitely shows a side to Kip Moore that we weren’t expecting!

His new album won’t be released until next year, but he has already let slip that it will include a duet with Ashley McBryde.

MADISON KOZAK – ‘ONE GIRL TO ANOTHER’

The video was premiered on CMT this week and was also shown on Paramount’s Times Square billboard in New York City.  She made a visit from her home in Canada to see herself on one of the biggest screens in the world.

It’s her follow-up to ‘If We Were A Country Song,’ and the plan is to continue to release singles throughout the summer before the festival dates commence in Canada in August.

IAN FLANIGAN – ‘LAST NAME ON IT’

He made his CMA Fest debut on the Maui Jim Reverb Stage earlier this month, and is building on the momentum that was gained as a Team Blake contestant on season 19 of ‘The Voice’.

He’s from New York and and his time on the talent show lasted until finals week, where he finished third. He has since maintained his link with Blake Shelton. They recorded a duet, ‘Grow Up,’ together and Flanigan has signed a deal with Reviver Music, who will release his debut album ‘Strong’ on September 2nd.

DAVID NAIL – ‘SUNSET CAROUSEL’

New music from David Nail has been in very short supply over the last few years, so we are relishing ‘Sunset Carousel’ which is a stunning return for the guy who helped inspire our love for country music.

He’s now an independent artist, having recorded 4 albums for MCA Nashville.

The new song was written with Grant Vogel and Robyn Collins. He’s announced some live dates in the States, so it seems that the desire is there for a return to live performing. Let’s hope this will include a visit to the UK.

CONNER SMITH – ‘SUMMER ON OUR LIPS’

Conner’s been with Big Machine Records in Nashville since 2019, and released his debut EP ‘Gone Too Far’ in January.

He’s back with a song that has the potential to introduce him to the masses. He’s featured in a three part docu-series about his life story, which is available on YouTube, entitled ‘Didn’t Go Too Far,’ which is well worth a look for those interested in the way that our favourite country stars fare in their formative years.

He’s 19, talented and has a great image, with a prized recording contract. You might be hearing more from Conner Smith.

SHY CARTER – HARD (LIVE ON THE GRAND)

He’s just made his Grand Ole Opry debut and was in great demand during the recent CMA Fest. Those of us who were in attendance at this year’s CMA Songwriters evening in London will have witnessed his magnetic stage presence and talent, and ‘Hard’ is another classic to add to his expanding back catalogue.

It was written with Nathan Chapman and Bryan Simpson, and was recorded in his home studio.
