Rising Indie-Country-Americana singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews today announced the release of her new video for single ‘Put The Fire Out,’ a road worn track which has significantly connected with UK fans and media. With critical support from esteemed music writers such as Laura Barton who stated; “In three and a half minutes, it articulated what I had spent 18 months trying to say”, in a personal piece she wrote for The Guardian and Spotify, who included it in their prestigious ‘New Music Friday’ playlist – the ‘Put The Fire Out’ video is soon to set the internet ablaze.
Discussing the video, which sees Courtney driving an RV through America, Courtney stated, “This old RV is the biggest piece of work that’s ever come into my possession, but also the most fun when we can get it to run. Put the Fire Out is a tune about getting back to ones you know and love after spending so much of your time on the road. By the end of the video I get there, but it takes a long drive.”
Courtney is fast becoming one of the most talked about artists in recent years in the UK after critically acclaimed album ‘Honest Life’ recently released on Loose, topped the UK Americana chart and was the number one selling album the week of the Americana Music Association UK’s annual Conference & Awards. She also has sold out her headline dates around UK including The Social in London on March 6th and quickly attracted the attention of media outlets including: The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The Evening Standard, The Independent, Q, Mojo, Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Gold Flake Paint and The Four Oh Five, alongside BBC 6 Music lending early support – ensuring Courtney is set to become one of the success stories of 2017 here in the UK.
Courtney will return to the UK for a performance at End Of The Road Festival and a solo show at Bush Hall Shepherds Bush on 4 September. For more information please visit: https://www.courtneymarieandrews.com
