Named after the city they grew up in (Temecula, CA), Dawson, Maddie, and Emma are ready to bring their brand of country music from SoCal to the rest of the world, starting with debut UK appearances at this year’s C2C Festival in London next month. Ahead of that performance the band have released their bright and breezy first single, ‘What If I Kissed You’.
Sisters Maddie Salute, 14, and Emma Salute, 16, have been singing together for years, and recently joined forces with longtime friend, Dawson Anderson, 15, to form Temecula Road. The trio writes their own original material, backed by Dawson on guitar and Emma on mandolin.
Noted for their impeccable harmonies, Temecula Road have gained quite the fan following, playing a number of live shows in California. Temecula Road was recently named West Coast Country Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year. They recently signed to Disney under their ‘Next Big Thing’ umbrella so a bright future beckons for this fledgling group.
‘What If I Kissed You’ is an up-tempo song full of harmony and sunshine that will appeal to fans of modern Country. It’s polished and mature sounding belying the band’s tender years. Expect to hear more from the pop-up stages of the O2 when the C2C Festival begins on Friday March 10th.
