Donovan Woods has shared his brand new single ‘I Hope You Change Your Mind’. The track comes ahead of a 2022 UK tour as guest to Aoife O’Donovan as well as a London headline show at Oslo. Listen HERE.

Co-written by Woods with David Hodges (Ed Sheeran, Maren Morris), ‘I Hope You Change Your Mind’ is a beautifully understated tearjerker with a twist in the tale: Woods doesn’t reveal that the relationship he’s exploring is over until the song’s devastating final line.

Woods says, “The song is about that back-end portion of a relationship when everyone knows the score but no one wants to say it. It’s loving someone so much that you’re not sure how to be mad at them, so you twist yourself into knots.”

As an in-demand songwriter whose work has been recorded by the likes of Tim McGraw (‘Portland, Maine’) and Lady A’s Charles Kelley (‘Leaving Nashville’), Woods has been venturing beyond the singer-songwriter scene where he first cut his teeth. Equally at home in folk and country, he has worked with songwriters such as Tom Douglas, Lori McKenna, Brandy Clark, Ashley Monroe, Femke Weidema, and Ed Robertson (Barenaked Ladies).

Donovan Woods will commence 2022 with a UK and Ireland tour as special guest to Aoife O’Donovan as well as a headline London show at Oslo. He will then embark upon a run of European dates in January before starting a huge Canadian tour in April. His UK and Ireland dates are listed below.
