Travis Collins

unnamedTravis Collins has had an amazing couple of years. His last album, Wired, was a #1 ARIA Country album and spawned #1 country airplay hits. Now 2016’s album release, Hard Light, is off to an equally strong start with the album debuting at #2 on the ARIA Country chart (behind Keith Urban’s latest release); and the first single, Just Another Girl, hitting #1 on the CMC charts.

The new single, ‘Call Me Crazy’, is perhaps one of the most personal and powerful tracks on the album. As Travis confirms, “Call Me Crazy’ is for our loved ones we’ve lost way too soon, often suddenly and almost always unfairly. Personally, for me.. there’s always that struggle of disbelief.. Knowing the hard truth yet refusing to accept them gone. You still feel them around, in everything.. and you don’t know if it’s you doing that… or them.”

“Call Me Crazy” was added out of the blocks to CMC as “Country Pick”; watch the video below!

Recorded and self-produced at the legendary Rancom Street Studio in Botany NSW (Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Sara Storer), ‘Hard Light’ is an album that’s unapologetically country, unashamedly Australian and relatable to people from all walks of life.

‘Hard Light’ moves everything up a gear, with Travis himself digging deeper than ever before – not only with his vocal abilities, but also as a musician and most notably here, a songwriter. A captivating and refreshingly real collection of songs that show the HARD side of sharing personal struggles but also the LIGHT in embracing them to produce incredible strength and character.
