Hannah Rose Platt To Release ‘Chanel and Cigarettes’ Tomorrow (June 30th)

UK based Americana artist Hannah Rose Platt releases Chanel and Cigarettes on the 30th June. This new single, a seductive and haunting tale, crafted with Hannah’s trademark cinematic lyricism, represents her first new music in two years after the stunning success of her critically acclaimed debut album Portraits.

Hannah is looking forward to releasing her much awaited second album later this year, co -produced with Thomas Collison (The Dreaming Spires).

“I’m so happy to finally share my new material! Listeners can expect to hear character studies and stories akin to Portraits, as well as songs exploring much more personal themes and issues this time around.”

Chanel and Cigarettes is released on the eve of Hannah’s appearance on the ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ stage at Maverick Festival, as part of a packed summer schedule including appearances at:

Ramblin’ Roots, Tingestock, Noshville, Truck Festival, as well as touring with Don Gallardo and an upcoming appearance on BBC One.

“Hannah Rose Platt is a young north of England Emmylou Harris blossoming before our eyes and ears” – Sid Griffin
