Carly Pearce joined Dan via Zoom to chat about her brand new EP ’29’ (available everywhere now), discussing what the project means to her at this point in her life and career, the bravery and vulnerability of the song writing and more, including answers to some of YOUR social media questions!

Speaking about the significance of the project for her personally, Carly explained:

“When I lost busbee, it really tested me as far as ‘where do I go after this?’ What this music represents is me finding even more about myself musically and personally than I ever thought was possible. I have always been the girl that says ‘I’m a country music purist’, but I don’t know that every song I’ve ever recorded with busbee represented that, and I feel like this music and this chapter, from top to bottom, there’s no question of that. It’s the first time I’ve written all of the music; on so many levels this is representative of a new chapter, and the best chapter”
