Ahead of the release of her highly-anticipated sophomore album Good Person on August 26th, Ingrid Andress joins us to chat about the making of the project, as well as music videos, her love for all things UK, and lots more!
Good Person is a 12-track follow-up to her hugely successful debut album Lady Like, which propelled Ingrid Andress to stardom with the smash-hit single “More Hearts Than Mine.” On the new collection, Andress co-wrote and co-produced every track, showcasing the next chapter of her life as a more mature songwriter with lots more life experience to share.
The album features songwriting collaborations with the likes of Shane McAnally, Laura Veltz and Derrick Southerland, as well as Julia Michaels on “Feel Like This.” On the charts, Andress is currently in the Top 25 at country radio with her single “Wishful Drinking” featuring Sam Hunt, and she recently released another new track, “Pain,” alongside a cinematic music video.
Andress is currently on the road with Keith Urban for his 52-date North American “The Speed of Now World Tour,” which runs until November
