Produced by Paul DiGiovanni, Buy Dirt is the follow up to Davis’ debut album, Home State, and his self-titled EP released last Spring. Speaking about what the EP means to him at this stage in his career, particularly after the events of the past year, Jordan explained:
“I was able to slow down for a little bit and re-focus on the real important things in my life. For me, that was my faith, my family and my friends, and I was able to see what life was like without music. Everything was still ticking, the world was still spinning. It was just me being able to say ‘here’s what’s really important to me’, and I’m gonna make sure that these things are in good order before I start looking at everything else. That to me is what ‘Buy Dirt’ means, and I’m excited to have it out.”
