Introducing us to the highly-anticipated follow up to his 2017 album, ‘Yours’, Russell explained:
“This one goes a little deeper. It’s still fun, it’s still anthemic, it’s still super high energy, but the song writing comes from a deeper place of learning how to express my emotions a little more.
It’s like an onion, you have to peel it back layer by layer, and with time I’m sure I’ll get deeper and deeper, but this is definitely more from the heart. I’m still the same goofy, fun guy, but the ones that really connected with me here were the ones that were a little bit deeper.”
