This week saw the release of Wade Bowen’s latest full-length album, Somewhere Between The Secret And The Truth, via Thirty Tigers. Already receiving widespread critical acclaim, the album sees Bowen going back to basics, returning to his signature sound that fans have come to know and love over his illustrious two-decade career.
We recently caught up with Wade to chat about the making of the album, writing with some of Nashville’s most talented writers, and why he felt like he had to go back to his roots on this new collection.
Listen to the album HERE.
Featuring 12 new tracks, the whole album was written by Bowen alongside a small group of Nashville’s finest writers – Lori McKenna, Heather Morgan, Eric Paslay, Randy Montana and Ray Fulcher are heavily featured.
Vince Gill also appears on “A Guitar, A Singer and A Song,” one of Bowen’s all-time musical heroes.
