Award-winning songwriter Jake Bugg is the latest artist announced for Kent’s Black Deer Festival, joining Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Imelda May, Drive-By Truckers, Foy Vance, Courtney Marie Andrews and Wilco.

The announcement follows the release of Jake’s fifth full length album, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning this summer featuring his euphoric single All I Need and supported by the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio X and the The Graham Norton show. While Jake is no stranger to a festival stage, Black Deer will be his first UK festival appearance in 2022.

“We’re all looking forward to playing Black Deer, it’s a great line up!” – Jake Bugg

Having survived two Covid-induced cancellations in 2020 and 2021, Black Deer Festival is returning bigger and better in June 2022. The largest growing independent UK music festival has been recognised with numerous awards including ‘The UK’s Best New Festival’ at the 2018 AIF Awards.

Further new additions to the festival line-up include Pokey LaFarge, The War and Treaty, William Prince, The Lost Brothers, Declan O’Rourke, Steak, Treetop Flyers, Yasmin Williams, True Strays, Midnight Skyracer, Isabella Coulstock and My Girl the River.
