Mackenzie Porter Reminisces In Reverse In ‘These Days’ Video

Big Loud Records’ MacKenzie Porter reminisces on a relationship in reverse in the brand new official video for her skyrocketing song, “These Days,” released today.

The clip stars Porter acting alongside a tall, dark and handsome “ex” from last to first, depicting the entirety of their love story like a movie set on rewind. Shot in Watertown, TN, and directed by Justin Clough, the pastel portrait tells the visual story behind the song, weaving clips of Porter belting out the anthem with dream-like flash backs.

“I wanted this video to feel nostalgic…like college love,” shares Porter. “We put all of the scenes in reverse, showing on screen the memories rewinding in my head. I can’t wait for you to see it!”

Earlier this month, Porter notched statement-making history as the first female in 22 years to have back-to-back #1 singles at Canadian Country radio with “About You” and “These Days,” following Shania Twain, who last claimed the honor in 1998.

Porter is currently on the road supporting Chris Lane on his headline ‘Big, Big Plans’ Tour.
