Megan McKenna Releases Debut Album ‘Story Of Me’

Reality star turned country singer Megan McKenna has today released her debut album Story Of Me.

It follows on from the success of her singles High Heeled Shoes and Far Cry From Love, both of which knocked Taylor Swift and P!NK off of the No.1 & 2 spots of the main iTunes chart last year and were released after Megan appeared on her own ITVBe show which followed her pursuing her country music dreams in Nashville. The show captured the writing process when Megan penned the heartfelt ballad Far Cry From Love with Grammy nominated songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman.

The next chapter for Megan is the release of her highly anticipated debut album, Story of Me, which features tracks written with the likes of Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud) and Beth Nielson Chapman (Faith Hill – This Kiss).

The album pre-order has already hit number 1 in the iTunes Country pre-order chart, and number 2 in the Bestselling pre-order main chart, Megan has support lined up from BBC Breakfast, News UK and MusicCrowns (3.1m followers). As well as having had an amazing Summer supporting Michael Bublè on the main stage in Hyde Park at BST, Ronan Keating at The Castle Concerts in Rochester, an hour long set at the Cornbury Music Festival, plus a sell out tour at the end of last year, culminating with the final show atThe Scala in London.
