Mitchell Tenpenny has premiered a new music video for “I Hope It Snows” with singer-songwriter and fiancé Meghan Patrick, from his new Christmas album Naughty List.

Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick got engaged last week on the eve of Thanksgiving at Losers Bar & Grill in Nashville, the place where they first met. People Magazine shared the news first HERE.

The couple wrote “I Hope It Snows” together, along with Jeff Cibulka, about spending Christmas ‘up north’ with Meghan’s family in her hometown in Canada, and hoping Mitchell gets to experience a white Christmas there. In the opening scene, Meghan is looking through a photo album filled with Christmas memories. The photographs in the scrapbook are images from Mitchell and Meghan’s childhood.

The “I Hope It Snows” video was shot at a cabin in Nashville, Tenn. by director Jay Curtis Miller. This is the second music video the couple has filmed together following “Neon Christmas” released in 2020.

The Christmas music follows Mitchell’s Midtown Diaries EP released in September. The EP contains his current radio single “Truth About You” which became the largest streaming debut of his career garnering 2.5 million streams in its first three days of release.
