New Release Round-Up: August 29th

The summer blitz seems to be easing but the good tunes are still emerging.  Let’s take a look…

COLE SWINDELL – ‘DOWN TO EARTH’

This is the third release from Swindell’s new EP ‘Down Home Sessions V’ . He has already shared ‘All Nighter’ and ‘Drinkin’ Hours’.

He’s currently opening for Luke Bryan on his ‘Sunset Repeat Tour’ in the States, which runs to the end of October.

THE SWON BROTHERS – ‘THIS TOWN’

They describe this song as the ode to small towns everywhere. Zach and Colton Swon found fame on ‘The Voice’ and hit the charts with ‘Later On’.   It’s been a while since we heard these guys on country radio – could this do it again for them?

ADAM HAMBRICK – ‘FOREVER AIN’T LONG ENOUGH’

Adam Hambrick began as a songwriter in Nashville. His hits include Dan + Shay’s ‘How Not To’ and Justin Moore’s ‘ Somebody Else Will’. He’s now signed to Capital Records Nashville and this is his new single, accompanied by a pretty cool retro video

AMERICAN YOUNG – ‘SOUNDTRACK OF YOUR LIFE’ EP

They have become regulars on the UK circuit and will be appearing at Millport this weekend. Kristy and Jon’s flawless vocals and strings feature heavily on this 5-track EP. ‘Gonna Be You’ is a superb lead single…

WES MACK – ‘BEST HANGOVER’

Wesley MacInnes is a Canadian Country music artist and actor who has 14 film credits to his name. He’s a top 20 country artist in the Canadian charts and has a deal with Universal. If you like your country with a commercial pop vibe, this might be for you.

JENNA PAULETTE – ‘BLUE JEANS’

Another tune that would sound great on your drive home from work with the windows rolled down.

Jenna is an independent artist from Texas and her EP ‘Modern Cowgirl Vol. 1’ will be released on 20th September. ‘Blue Jeans’ is the second release from the EP. Can’t wait to hear the rest!

JANA KRAMER – ‘GOOD ENOUGH’

The follow up to ‘Beautiful Lies’. Jana’s recently moved from LA to Nashville and sees this song as a fresh start. It’s her recharge anthem and it coincides with a tour of her successful iHeart radio podcast ‘Whine Down With Jana Kramer’

WATERLOO REVIVAL – ‘SLICE OF HEAVEN’

Cody Cooper and George Bings are Waterloo Revival. They are touring with Toby Keith in the States and have released two new tunes, ‘Slice Of Heaven’ and Like I Miss You’. This one’s a bouncy FGL-esque party anthem that’s made for their live shows.

JAMIE LIN WILSON – ‘ALICE’

The only criteria for our new release lists is ‘great song’, and this is a great song. If you appreciate Brandy Clark, we think you might just like this one too. Jamie’s from South Texas and is already making waves on the Americana scene.

ERIN ENDERLIN – ‘WHATEVER GETS YOU THROUGH THE NIGHT’

She’s here in the UK at the moment and has been releasing a series of EPs throughout the year. We now have the third chapter, and the quality is outstanding.

Three traditional, laid-back songs from a lady who isn’t afraid to put the fiddle and steel to the forefront of her music. Check out the tour with Kayla Ray.
