New Release Round-Up: May 5th

Another mega week for new releases….

TYLER RICH – ‘LEAVE HER WILD’

Having just started a mammoth US tour, Californian Tyler Rich has released his new single ‘Leave Her Wild’ to country radio. He’s looking for his big breakthrough hit and has Big Machine in his corner.

It’s the follow up to last year’s ‘The Difference’ which made the top 30.

TENILLE TOWNES – ‘I KEPT THE ROSES’

We chatted with Tenille last year and she told us that her new album was to be released in 2019.  We are still awaiting a formal release date but do have another track which follows ‘White Horse’, released at the end of March.

‘I Kept The Roses’ will keep the anticipation ticking along nicely. A lovely, Patsy Cline-esque throwback feel.

THOMPSON SQUARE – ‘YOU SHOULD’A BEEN THERE’

Husband and wife team Keifer and Shawna Thompson have dropped a new single ‘You Should’a Been There’ pretty much out of the blue. It’s certainly catchy and may just return them to the charts, which they were achieving at the beginning of the decade.

TEDDY ROBB – ‘TELL ME HOW’

A new name we guess, but maybe not for long. He’s playing the Chevy Breakout Stage at CMA Fest this year. He will be supporting Brothers Osborne later this summer. Remember the name.

LEWIS BRICE – ‘SUMMERTIME VIBES’

Just a few weeks to go now before Lewis Brice takes the stage at Buckle & Boots. This is the perfect soundtrack to an early summer evening . Let’s all learn the words in preparation!

PINK & CHRIS STAPLETON – ‘LOVE ME ANYWAY’

OK, we included it for the obvious reason and we don’t intend to stray too far into the pop releases. It’s taken from Pink’s new album ‘Hurts 2B Human’ which features guest spots from Khalid , Wrabel and our very own Chris Stapleton. The writers Allen Shamblin and Tom Douglas have pedigree. They wrote Miranda’s ‘The House That Built Me’ and let’s not forget that Pink has already had a hit duet with Kenny Chesney ‘Setting The World On Fire’

GRANGER SMITH – ‘HEAVEN BOUND BALLOONS’

Granger is releasing a ton of new music according to his socials. New music every month. This is a real tear-jerker with a sweet video.

ERIN ENDERLIN – ‘TILL IT’S GONE’

Prolific in the songwriting stakes with tunes recorded by Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack and Randy Travis, Erin Enderlin is also a well-respected singer in her own right.

‘Till It’s Gone’ is one of 3 tracks on a EP called ‘Tonight I Don’t Give A Damn’, and in our opinion the best of a strong trio.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – ‘HELLO SUNSHINE’

We are straying off the beaten country path again with this one, but Bruce has released a track which may be the award winner for the most ’country’ song released this week. It’s the first release from his first album in 5 years and we are wondering if the Boss has more like this to delight us.
