Paul Cauthen Releases ‘Holy Ghost Fire’ Video

Following his recent UK headline tour in June and an appearance at Black Deer Festival, Paul Cauthen has shared the cinematic video for “Holy Ghost Fire” – the second brand new track to be released to stream/download from his second full-length album ‘Room 41‘ (pre-order here), out Sept 6th 2019.

Directed and produced by Gus Black (Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, Goo Goo Dolls), Paul Cauthen’s “Holy Ghost Fire” video was shot at Whitehorse Ranch Movie Set (Gold Nugget, Tumbleweed, Traded, Wolf Town) in Landers, CA. Actor Eric Edelstein from Drunk History is the bartender and one of the main characters, with the other parts played by LA-based actors and actresses including Bailee Mykell Cowperthwaite, Sloan Schmitz, Katherine Rodriguez, Shay Turner and others.

“Holy Ghost Fire” follows album track “Cocaine Country Dancing”, a song NPR Music’s Slingshot calls “a modern day honky-tonk delight,” and one Rolling Stone says “unleashes larger-than-life bark of a baritone.” The album ‘Room 41‘ – written and co-written entirely in room 41 at The Belmont Hotel in Dallas, TX during a dark stint in Cauthen’s life — is due Sept 6th via Nashville’s Lightning Rod Records.
