The Pauper Kings are five best friends from York, England. Within two and a half years, Pauper Kings have built up an army of fans throughout Europe which is growing in strength and numbers on a daily basis.
With all 5 members being in their 20′s, it may be expected that they’re fresh to the music scene, but in fact all have many years of experience playing professionally as session musicians.
In 2012, they felt it was time to step forward with their own material and the Pauper Kings were born! From that day they have not looked back, and have enjoyed every second in their Country music career to date, which have included highlights such as playing:
The O2 Arena in March 2015 for 3 nights for C2C: Country to Country Festival, London / Wembley Arena, London / The Olympia theatre, Dublin / The Cirkus, Stockholm, Sweden / CMA Fest in Nashville, USA and in the Summer of 2013, the boys toured for all 7 dates on the European leg of the Rascal Flatts world tour.
In February of 2016, they also opened for Brett Eldredge on 4 dates of his UK tour.
In the relatively short time since the band’s inception, the Pauper Kings are at the forefront of the Country music youth upsurge in Europe. The band has pushed the boundaries and awareness of Country music in the UK, both nationally and internationally to an unprecedented level.
Pauper Kings are currently back and fourth to Nashville USA, where they are recording brand new music for their album which is executively produced by Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, whom is now actively acting as the band’s mentor. The boys have already broken history by being the first ever European act to be invited to play at the CMC Rocks festival in Queensland, Australia.
