The competition is fierce and the talent pool overflowing, however many a career has been launched off the back of a huge single and this has all the hallmarks. Think Florida Georgia Line with ‘Cruise’ or Sam Hunt’s ‘Leave the Night on’

‘Yours’ was released in the US in August 2015. With the volume of music breaking across the vast country network it’s taken until the beginning of 2016 for the majority of country radio stations to pick up on it.

We now have an impressive debut for this 5 track EP in Billboard’s album chart, shooting straight to #14 in its first week.

Russell Dickerson has been learning his trade in Nashville for a number of years. A debut single ‘Green Light’ was released in 2013 and fared quite well on satellite radio without touching the national FM stations.

He also secured support gigs on shows with FGL, Kip Moore and Darius Rucker before releasing this EP which may well be the kick-start his career needed.

‘Yours’ is easy to describe. It’s a country love song. It’s already becoming a favourite first wedding dance and we truly believe it will be a huge hit. Very Sam Hunt-ish.

Dickerson’s deep powerful vocals shine throughout the 4 tracks on offer (the fifth is a ‘Wedding Edition’ of ‘Yours’).

“Every Little Thing” is an up-beat, very catchy, radio-friendly dance track that could easily be released as a single and will be well received in his live shows.

‘MGNO’ (My Girls Night Out) is a pounding energetic sing-a-long song produced again with his live show in mind. Not ‘country’ by any stretch of the imagination but still a very impressive track.

The final track ‘Blue Tacoma’ is another one with enormous radio potential. Think Dan and Shay’s ‘Nothin’ Like You’ – very similar.

He will be touring with Billy Currington and Kelsea Ballerini in February. An ideal candidate for a C2C pop-up stage appearance in 2017!

Don’t let us down Russell. Our reputation is on the line!
