SPOTLIGHT: Jeannine Barry To Release ‘Sweet Spot’ To Coincide With C2C Appearances

Jeannine Barry, one of Britain’s finest homegrown Country artists, has announced the 2018 release of her new single ‘Sweet Spot.’ The long-awaited single will be available digitally across all platforms and is planned for a 9th of March debut. It will be released in conjunction with Barry’s return to this year’s C2C (Country 2 Country) festival, Europe’s biggest and most important country music festival. Fans can catch the singer-songwriter playing six sets over the three-day event, and on three stages.

Jeannine’s highly-anticipated new release is set to surpass her 2016 hit “Bittersweet,” which peaked at No. 3 on the UK Country iTunes charts.

It also garnered her some serious attention amongst British and Nashville industry professionals and left fans, including ‘long- time fan’ Nick, from Belles and Gals, who attended her 2017 packed out headline show at London’s Thousand Island, craving more.

Aside from her performances at C2C, Jeannine Barry just performed on Bob Harris’ Under the Apple Tree sessions, which promises to set Barry on a very successful course for 2018.

‘Could Jeannine Barry be the UK’s answer to Carrie Underwood? Quite possibly!’ – Mind Over Music UK

“She knows exactly how to portray emotion, embracing the sounds of pop, country and rock. Jeannine mixes it up into a style that is truly her own”. – Building Our Own Nashville

“Her voice and talent are not only moving and honest but “Authentically Country”. It has been a while, since my days teaching Beyoncé Knowles actually, that I have been so excited about teaching a young performer.” – David Lee Brewer, Star Vocal Coach.
