SPOTLIGHT: Kristen Foreman – ‘Blackout’

“Blackout” is Kristen Foreman’s newest single that showcases post break up feelings of moving past a sad stage and ready to blow off steam. The single was released on October 26th (along with a music video release on Halloween). It was recorded in Nashville, TN at Benchmark Sound. Produced by Troy Olsen and Warren Piece Productions. Mixed and Mastered by Billy Decker.

With a darker take on a classic country sound, “Blackout” will have you drinking the last of your gin and putting on that red lip.  Foreman’s influences include Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert and Lee Ann Womack. The up and comer country artist is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. After gaining a Marketing degree from Louisiana State University, Foreman moved to Nashville where she is currently playing music full time.
