SPOTLIGHT: Laura Evans Releases New Single ‘Heartstrings’

The much anticipated brand new single by welsh singer-songwriter Laura Evans is out now! Sticking to her love of ballads, heartfelt lyrics & soulful vocals, the single is a timeless classic, with hints of Nashville & Pop. Laura has been described as Adele meets Country.

Laura has been one to watch over the last couple of years since her return to the UK from living in LA & Nashville (2010 – 2016)  where she wrote & recorded her last EP ‘Remember When’. Many songs of which were featured on several American TV shows & also played in all Caffè Nero stores across the country.

Laura has been busy trying to make her mark on the UK country scene ever since and finally is breaking through after winning over 1400 country fans when she supported ‘The Shires’ in concert at Chepstow Castle as well as performing to thousands of fans at the C2C festival, playing at writers rounds alongside great Nashville artists such as ‘Charlie Worsham’, & also catching the ear of Bob Harris after recording & performing an ‘Under the Apple tree’ session at their studios in Oxford. Laura frequently travels to Nashville to write and on her last trip debuted at ‘The Bluebird’ cafe after being invited by Nashville hit writer, Jeff Cohen to perform a song they wrote together just a day prior called ‘Out Of The Blue’ (Link below)

Laura plays live at ‘The Troubadour’ on February 14th as part of her ongoing  ‘Laura & friends’ monthly residency where she curates a night of the UK’s best singer / songwriters.
