Singer songwriter Lisa Redford returns with ‘Anything But Easy’, her most radio-friendly single yet and the first enticing taste of her upcoming EP ‘Edge of Love.’
Produced by José McGill from award-winning group The Vagaband, the five self-written songs feature beautiful arrangements and instrumentation performed by a host of the finest musicians; pedal steel player Alan Cook (My Darling Clementine, Chris Hillman of The Byrds), Noel Dashwood of acclaimed folk trio Alden, Patterson and Dashwood and award-winning cellist Ivan McCready (The Pretenders, Blur, John Cale, George Michael).
Instantly hooky, ‘Anything But Easy‘ blends Lisa’s folk, Americana and country influences with her melodic pop sensibility.
“I always write from the heart and this song is no exception,” says Lisa. “I’m so proud of the new songs from ‘Edge of Love’ and can’t wait to share them.”
The release has been fan-funded through PledgeMusic with some of the money raised going to Dogs Trust.
