‘Rear View Mirror’, the brand-new single from Louise Parker, is out now.
The Essex based singer/songwriter has had a whirlwind few months. The release of singles ‘Paradise’, ‘Chances Are’ and ‘Paradise (Mouse Remix)’ in the first half of the year saw Louise gain many new fans, both in the UK and the US. Then Louise caught the ear of Nick Cantwell (Belles and Gals/BGBB Music Management) with a late stand-in performance at a showcase gig at the famed ‘Water Rats’ venue in London, who made moves to sign the singer to a management deal immediately.
Louise is an artist who spends her time between her Essex home, Texas and Tennessee, while she is one of only a few UK artists who has played at the Bluebird Café in Nashville – Louise has performed at the famous venue twice.
“Rear View Mirror is an upbeat, sassy story about realising I deserve better. It is having an epiphany at a crossroad in life and choosing to not stand for anything less than perfection. I wrote it for all the women and men who have risen up in the face of adversity and been the stronger and better people.Rear View Mirror was born from a streak of road rage. A BMW wouldn’t let me overtake on the M25, as I put my foot down and passed them I thought ‘you suit my rear view mirror…’. The chorus I wrote whilst driving, all the rest came later. Probably one of the easiest songs I’ve ever written.
I’m a great driver, promise!”
