After successfully entering the top 5 in the iTunes UK Country Charts last year with single “Keeping Me Up”, London based artist Vic Allen has released her new track “Talk”. A co-write with UK favourite Kaity Rae, who also co-produced the track along with Lauren Deakin-Davies, “Talk” brings an element of fresh-faced pop to Vic’s country roots.
Over the past few months, Vic has been building a following across the UK, with her most recent EP “Between the Lines” being entirely fan-funded. In May 2018, she embarked on the “Write Like a Girl” tour with fellow songwriters Beth Keeping and Emily Faye, and continues to be a part of the brand, who will be holding monthly rounds in London to showcase female talent. Other highlights of the year included airplay on Chris Country and BBC Introducing, performing at Bush Hall, and taking her fourth trip to Nashville in September to write with local artists and perform in writers’ rounds, closing the year with a UK show supporting Cattle & Cane.
Following the release of “Talk”, Vic will be making several festival appearances with her band over the summer, with more live shows to be announced later in the year.
