Following her fan funded EP “Between the Lines”, released earlier this year, Vic Allen recently signed with independent record label GingerDog and is set to release her new single “Blinded” on August 10th.
Since her debut “The Missing Piece”, a four track, self-written EP independently released back in 2016, Vic has been played on local BBC Radio, and has performed at a huge variety of venues and events throughout the UK, including Buckle and Boots Festival, FSA Fest, and female fronted writer’s round tour “Write Like a Girl”.
First discovering her love of country music on a trip to America during her teenage years, it is fitting that “Blinded” was written in Nashville, with local songwriter Ian McConnell. Visiting Nashville has been an important part of Vic’s life over the past couple of years, and has heavily influenced her music and songwriting, which is often reminiscent of her travels.
“Blinded” will be Vic’s first release with a record label, and she will be spending more time in the studio throughout the rest of the year to finish up what will be her debut album.
