FIREWORK is the third single lifted from The Viper Band album JUST PRESS PLAY and follows the singles ROCKSTARS and title track JUST PRESS PLAY.

The Australian band were searching for a ballad for the album, something a bit left of centre from what people have come to expect from Viper Creek. Producer Andrew Cochrane sent the band a bunch of songs and when frontman Damien Baguley heard FIREWORK it stopped him in his tracks. Damien said “I must have listened to that demo 20 times over. I instantly fell in love with the song and could really relate to the lyrics”. Damien adds, “ It paints a picture of a couple who fall in love and the relationship burns so bright and strong for a short time and then eventually fades away”.

FIREWORK was written by Nashville CMA songwriter of the year/producer Shane McAnally (Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Matt Jenkins (Keith Urban, Dustin Lynch) and Trevor Rosen from the band Old Dominion (Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Sam Hunt)

Check out the video for FIREWORK which was directed by Jesse Anderson of KLIK Production.
