In 2015, Tyler sent shockwaves through the music industry when he announced that his first solo project would be in country music, a genre he has always been a fan of. In May 2015, Tyler released his debut single ‘Love Is Your Name’, which reached #19 on the US Country Singles Chart, and he later performed it on the season finale of American Idol.

‘Red, White and You’ has been produced by Steven Tyler himself, alongside legendary producer Dan Huff, who has worked with some of the biggest stars in country music, including the likes of Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban and Hunter Hayes. Tyler also co-wrote the track with Nathan Barlowe, John Vella and Levi Hummon.

It will be available on all digital platforms and streaming services in the US on January 22, before hitting country radio on January 25. Release dates for the UK have not yet been confirmed.

His first full-length country album will be released on Dot Records later this year. Watch the video for Tyler’s debut single ‘Love Is Your Name’ below!
