After spending four months of 2017 in Nashville and most of the summer in the studio recording new music, singer-songwriter Vic Allen is set to release her latest EP “Between The Lines” this year.
A follow up to her 2016 debut EP “The Missing Piece”, which received strong praise from BBC Introducing and landed her slots at several UK festivals including Buckle and Boots, “Between The Lines” consists of four original tracks with a definite Nashville influence. Thanks to a loyal fan base, Vic was able to involve her listeners in the creative process and record this EP with the help of a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Title track “Between The Lines”, a song about not wanting to become trapped inside the four walls of a tedious, nine to five life, was co-written in Nashville. It will be available to download and stream on the 12th of January, with a lyric video and the rest of the EP to follow shortly after.
With a huge repertoire of new songs and a growing UK country scene, Vic has high hopes for 2018, with plans for more releases and live shows over the next few months.
