Wade Bowen Announces UK Album Release & Tour Dates

American singer-songwriter Wade Bowen’s upcoming album, SOLID GROUND will be released in the UK on April 6 via Thirty Tigers and Wade will play much-anticipated UK shows in June, as part of a European tour:

June 21  GLASGOW Oran Mor
June 23  BLACK DEER FESTIVAL

SOLID GROUND is Bowen’s first release with Thirty Tigers, who have been champions of his sound and vision.

“I’ve been a fan of Wade’s since Lost Hotel,” says Thirty Tigers’ Co-founder and President David Macias. “I could not be more excited about him coming into the family. He’s a gifted storyteller and a great performer. And the new album is fantastic.”

SOLID GROUND was produced by Keith Gattis and includes contributions from Andrew Combs, Jack Ingram, Miranda Lambert, Waylon Payne, Angaleena Presley, Jon Randall, Lucie Silvas, and Charlie Worsham among others. The stellar band features Audley Freed (Black Crowes) on guitar brought his roots rock approach, as did Jeff Trotts (Sheryl Crow) on guitar and lapsteel, Fred Eltringham (Wallflowers, Willie Nelson, Robert Plant) on drums, Billie Mercer (Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams) on bass, and great players on keys like Jenn Gunderman (Sheryl Crow), Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), John Henry Trinko (Randy Houser).”

In SOLID GROUND, with its not-quite-country, not-quite-rock sound, Bowen has an album fit for fans for whom Springsteen, Tom Petty and Mellencamp are as influential as Guy Clark.
